To nut it on the show, I speak with Professor Richard Epstein,

the Hoover Institution, about the affirmative action decision

passed down by the Supreme Court 6 to 3,

which should begin with the Civil War,

the 14th Amendment, and the Friedman's Bureau,

and then takes us through the history of what we now call

affirmative action all the way through the 20th century

into the early 21st.

We then turn to questions of matters of great important overseas.

For example, right now, the war in Ukraine

has turned into a mystery about the revolt of Purgosan,

who's now exiled to Belarus against Putin,

who we presume is in the Kremlin.

There are rumors in all directions.

I speak with Josh Rogan of the Washington Post

about the belief that Purgosan is guilty of war crimes,

at least the allegation of war crimes.

And the International Criminal Court is

as much interested in him as Moscow is.

The advantage the ICC has is that if Purgosan were to surrender to it,

he at least would live a much longer life
