Summary

On this episode of "Tommy Talk,” Tommy discusses something we all continue to fight for: staying present so life doesn’t pass us by. With every passing year, life seems to move faster and faster. We don’t want to wake up one day and feel like life completely passed us by, like we spent the one life we get to live focusing on the things that truly don’t matter. So today Tommy is sharing the very specific (and realistic) habits he does to stay grounded in the present and fully experience life as it’s happening. This conversation is for anyone who wants to slow down, let go of what doesn’t matter, and start appreciating the one life we get to live.

you're a kid. And I don't want life to pass me by. I want to live every damn moment, every damn moment to the max, because I am so grateful to be here. I truly am. I say it every single day in my morning prayers. Like, I am grateful to be here and thank you for choosing me to be here because I don't take this life for granted. And I think it feels so fast because it's, I don't know, maybe we're living in autopilot. The days blur together and you realize you're just kind of going through the motions, wake up, work, repeat. And maybe you're not really in the days. You're just going through what you have to get done, like a checklist. So I don't know. I guess I want to live life. And the goal isn't to cram more in necessarily. It's just about

experiencing more of what's already happening, aka being present. It's a fight. I fight every single
