Today we are talking tomato pruning strategies with Craig LaHoolier of Epic Tomatoes, his

book, his big book and also known as the NC Tomato Man.

Now pruning strategies for tomatoes, we always talk about the suckers, should you take them

off, should you take some off, should you not take any off, what would be the difference

between all of those strategies as well as pruning for indeterminate tomatoes and pruning

for determined tomatoes.

And so there's a lot to chew on there and I think that if there's anyone that's going

to answer that question for us and answer it thoroughly in a way that we can take that

knowledge and apply it in the future, it's going to be Craig.

to be one of the most popular topics because there's so much I think not necessarily misinformation

but confusion about do you take the suckers off, do you leave them on, how many would you

leave on, how many stems on a tomato plant do you want to have, what are you growing?
