Green Lantern, Hawkman, Black Canarian Zatanna. But we open up with recently departed member.

Not Departed isn't dead, but departed has in quitting the league. Green Arrow is walking down the streets of Star City,

thinking about his decision to leave, whether it was a good idea, whether it was a bad idea.

Conway even quotes a little Raymond Chandler saying,

Down these mean streets, a man must walk.

Well, there you go. There's some literary value in there.

As Green Arrow is walking down the street, he happens to wander past a group of your typical

multi-gender, multi-ethnic, early 80 street tops who are stripping a car.

We get a little bit of comedy.

It's Green Arrow so preoccupied that he almost walks by the car thieves

without noticing what's going on.

He then finally turns around,

hits him with one of those net arrows that captures all of them,

and we get a little chuckle as Green Arrow has to remind himself

that he needs to focus on what he's doing.

I mean, he quit the league to stop

street tufts. Here are some street tufts. He stopped him. Suddenly, as he's rounding them up,

around the corner comes an familiar face. It's Felix Faust. They don't really mention it in the book,
