Tom versus Aquaman and Aquaman number 29 or it's called aiding and abetting Aquaman.

Welcome back for Aquaman number 29, this September, October, 1966 issue, featuring a cover by

Nick Cardi with issue being edited by George Cashton. Our Aquaman story is Aquaman, Howard King of the Seas,

written by Bob Haney with art by Nick Cardi.

We begin with a shadowy figure leaving the royal palace inside Atlantis, sneaking through the gates,

quietly, barely drawing the attention of the guards who seem startled that someone's leaving

in the middle of the night.

These aren't the top flight guards.

This is like middle of the night type guys. And who is it? It's Aquaman, of course,

sneaking out in the dead of night. Why is he swimming so fast where he's headed? He's head

towards the surface. He emerges. He looks around and sees what, obviously, he was there to meet.

An arrow playing flying low over the sea with a rope harness just dangling above the surface.

Aquaman remarks that they're there on time grabs the rope loop as it passes over him.

He's picked up and carried off and taken all the way up to the coast of the United States,

up the Potomac River, to Washington, D.C. I don't know if he

got to climb into the actual airplane at any point, or if he just had to hold on to the rope.

Would be a pretty sweet ride. Why has he been brought to the Pentagon? Why Aquaman?

There's so many guys above Akman, you think they would ask. This is a specific reason.

Aquaman received their code red signal signal so he knew there was trouble.

He wants to know exactly what's going on.

The man in charge is not the president.
