It's Tom Berduci, Sports Illustrated, senior writer, as well as a Fox Sports and MLB network reporter and broadcaster.

1:13.5	And as I've told the story many times either in print, probably in podcast form too. When I was 19 at the University of Buffalo, I wrote
1:19.2	two letters. One was to a local Buffalo news sports columnist. One was to Tom Verducci, basically
1:24.7	just asking them to look at my shitty copy and give me any kind of
1:29.3	advice. Never heard from the Buffalo news person who lived pretty much in my neighborhood. Heard from
1:35.2	Tom Breducci, wrote me a two-page handwritten letter on what I had written and how to get better.
1:42.1	And I'm sure I still have that letter somewhere in my mom's house.
1:45.4	That's stuff you never forget.
1:47.7	And then to join Sports Illustrated and to be on the same masthead as Tom
1:51.2	Verducci was just like an absolute thrill.
1:53.6	I think the guy's the best baseball writer I've ever read.
1:58.1	And I think he's the best baseball writer of his generation for sure.
