Hi and welcome to the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide podcast. This podcast is being recorded on December 15th, 2011, which reminds me I have half a book

manuscript due today and it's going to be late if my publisher is

listening. We give you the date because a lot of people listen to the archive

podcasts and they like to know when the podcast is being recorded in case we

mention a timely topic. We try not to mention timely topics we try to make these

podcasts timeless. Anyway let's start out with little short items. First of all,

products you might have missed. This is where we mentioned some products that might get lost in the shuffle and are pretty handy and

solve some problems. One of my favorites is the lightweight floating flyboxes.

uh... sticking in your luggage you can't hurt him you can't hurt him, you can't crack him, you can stand on

them and not hurt them. They're lightweight, they float, you can put a lot of them in your chest

pack or your vest or your waist pack without carrying a lot of weight.

They hold flies very securely and they're best for, I think they're best for nymphs. They're their best nymph box and since this

podcast the main podcast topic this week is going to be about filling your

nymph box I thought that I should mention the lightweight floating flyboxes.

They're cheap they're indestructible I think they're the best nymph box out there.
