There's a lot of good stuff happening on the blog Tom and in fact depending on when this goes up there may still be time to enter your vote for the best

caption for Tom's great photograph that we put up a couple weeks ago of a

rather frightening man sawing a bonefish in half.

But there's been a lot of great how-to stuff on the blog of late as well.

Pete Kutzer is back with some videos that we shot. The last one is about how to make

the reach cast and if you're a trout fisherman and you're not using the reach cast at least half the time,

you're probably not getting as good a dead drift as you can.

And for real beginners, his lesson before that was how to properly grip the fly rod. And if you find yourself tired after a day of fishing you might not be holding it right.

Other good stuff includes a great new film from Simon Perkins have Have you seen the new teaser? I have. It's superb. He's got some of the great, some of the best footage of sipping big trout and leaping rainbows that you'll see anywhere.

And then on Monday we ran a piece on what you should do before you get to the dock when

you book a fishing guide. One thing that

fishing guides hate is when you show up late and not ready. And the way you can

make your fishing day better is to make your guide happy.
