Ultra Trail de Mont Blanc, concluding our UTMB coverage with another champion. And as usual,

Tom delivers the goods. He is such a fun athlete to chat with. And as always, there are a few really

We talk about reconnecting with the love of the game, something we talked about in the

pre-race interview and how Tom's new mindset and attitude contributed to his victory.

We talk about the negative consequences of forcing our will in competition or in Tom's words,

trying too hard to win, how he avoided that this year. We talk about the practical management of the challenging racing conditions.

We go through the entire race execution itself in detail, the early miles buddied up with Ben

Demon and John Albin, moving into the lead, pulling away from Ben,

Tom's aid station strategy and interacting with his wife and daughter out on the course.

And of course, the thrill of winning, bringing this multi-year dream of victory at UTMB

to a thrilling conclusion last weekend.

After all that, we talk also about the team that made

the performance possible, where again, it felt like Tom had really interesting and novel things
