Tom Brady to Vegas, Jimmy Garoppolo to Vegas, how is this going to shake out?

So I think when they did the deal with Carr, the idea with Carr is the same as like Cousins in Minnesota, right?

Which was like it's the Alex Smith in Kansas City model.

When Andy Reid traded for Alex Smith in 2013, the idea was he's going to make us competitive.

We're going to be able to build around him.

We can get to the playoffs with him.

And ultimately, he's going to buy us time to find the right guy.

So that's Kirk Cousins in Minnesota.

That was what the idea was with Derek Carr in Vegas.

I think now it's, can Jimmy Garoppolo be that guy rather than Derek

Carr, where he's the guy that gets us to the next guy? Or do you still think you're close enough

where if you bring in Brady, you can win a Super Bowl? And those are two different things to me.

Do you think this is more a case this year of a guy that's just not engaged and closer to, you know, 2019 maybe with the Patriots? Or do you think it's a 45-year-old quarterback looking like a 45-year-old quarterback?

I think it's a great question because he has not looked good at all.
