Summary

Missing running with others, run with Tina on this Together Run and you will feel like you are right beside her. Grounding and connecting exercises start each run; a nature check in, body scan, senses check in, and mental health check in. This is the closest you can get to running with someone else...without actually doing it.

0:13.6

for that day.

0:14.6

I don't know what we're going to do for that one, I'd love your ideas if you have any suggestions

0:18.6

but in the meantime, I want you to start as we always do by connecting with some element

0:22.8

of nature, touching something to ground yourself, if you can't ground yourself through, if

0:30.5

you can't ground yourself through, you're hearing my neighbour, I'm going to have to tell

0:35.9

I had to listen to this, if you can't ground yourself through touching some element of nature

0:40.6

then just feel your feet on the ground, mind yourself, you're connected to the earth,

1:21.8

so I guess I did, going into a big week will know a lot with my fit, I've been very, very

1:34.0

cautious over the last six weeks, followed what I've been meant to be doing, doing my exercises,

1:41.5

I've been so proud of myself for doing the rehab that I needed to do every day, all my

1:50.1

separate day, I wasn't even supposed to be doing it as much as I did, I'm not supposed to

1:56.0

but I was told five times a week and I did it five to six times a week and we're now at the

2:03.9

point where we got to move forward but as I'm sure most of you know, most of you have had an

2:10.9

injury at some point, the challenging part is not usually so much when you are in those early

2:19.6

stages, it's once you are kind of in the clear, I feel like you're in the clear, getting back to

2:27.5

whatever is normal for you without sending yourself backward and we've been extra careful,

2:34.1

these past six weeks I've never taken a recovery to from an injury as slow as I have with this

2:45.0

but here we are, needed it, required it and now we have to start figuring out where we're at,
