Summary

Ahhh it feels so good to be back recording these. This one is from the day I was meant to being my THIRD attempt at an ultra, but once again, sickness made not possible. I was a little raw on this day, and talked it through with you as I ran (and walked) up giant hills and viewed the scenery. You will hear me shift my mindset during the run and hopefully make you feel positive too.

Join Tina for a run around Shropshire. This run involves meditative aspects- a nature check in, body scan, senses check in, and mental health check in, and then Tina talks through her decision to not race in Snowdonia while she was in the UK, and challenges herself up some tough hills instead. Join Tina for this real, raw Together Run.

Speaking to you from Shropshire near Craven Arms in the UK, I hope you can hear the sheep.

It's birds. Very quiet. I've run here before, together on 35, so you can hear

a listen to that if you haven't already. But I want you to again, as we always do,

with touching some element of nature. I am going to touch a runner-been plant of my

0:42.0

aunt's vegetable garden, touching the leaves right now. I can see the runner-beens

0:45.9

growing well. Oh no, that's some of some significance. Let's get going and I'll

0:52.1

explain why. Ready? Three, two and one. A runner-been plant is of significance because that

1:01.3

was my original email. No, that wasn't my first email. My first email was spotty

1:08.4

freak 100. How's that for a first email? And my second email had runner-been in it, not

1:17.6

because of that. It was more of like a, I don't know what I was thinking. And so I've

1:25.4

touched that. Rough and I've run down the country lanes, going by a red telephone booth,

1:33.4

which I imagine most of you famously have seen somewhere another. Obviously out of

1:39.2

use nowadays, we don't need pay fans, do we? And I'm off on this run. Actually the second

1:49.8

together run I recorded in a week, now that I have my mic back, those so intentionally,

1:56.6

I will be, I think, in the middle of a week off when you listen to this, maybe even coming

2:03.4

to the end of a week off. And I wanted to get a run in here. Also wanted to process with

2:12.0

you. I was meant to be having my third attempt, an ultra race this morning. Should have been

2:21.4

doing it now. And I'm not there. So I thought I would process my thoughts with you. And just

2:34.0

be present, have someone to share the beauty of this area with and ground myself with, even

2:43.3

if you can't see it yourself. Well, you can go on my social media and you'll see pictures

2:49.4

of my trip here, of running here, to a video of running in Shropshire Hills. So you can actually
