Summary

Join Tina for a run around her hometown of St Albans for her first Together Run in a month. Tina takes us through the usual meditative aspects of a run- nature check in, body scan, senses check in, and mental health check in, and then talks through her last month (a lot has happened!). In true Running For Real form, Tina swallows a bug (!) and hits her arm (HARD!). This run is all the Running For Real you know and love. Come join today!

Hi friends, delayed together run, haven't done one of these in a while because I lost my

0:15.2

microphone and I've ordered anyone, so now I have a new one. I have no idea where the

0:20.1

other one is. I tried to find it for weeks and weeks, couldn't, so I gave up. I probably

0:26.0

find it tomorrow when I went because I'm in England, but I'll find it with a day of

0:29.3

get home. Okay, it's been a while, might be a bit rusty, but I want us to begin by touching

0:35.4

some element of nature. I want to go touch. My mum has these, oh I don't even know the name

0:43.2

of them, it's very common flower, but the white little white flowers, it is absolutely

0:49.0

ginormous this plant, and just gonna admire that, touch it for a minute. You touch your

0:55.2

element of nature. If you are in a treadmill, you can just feel the ground beneath you. We're

1:01.3

ready to go. Three, two and one. Oh, we go. Now I have to tell you, I want a little bit

1:14.2

windy, I have a new watch and I haven't done any of the settings, I'm an impedit with my

1:24.2

phone yet, I couldn't figure out how to do that this morning. So, it's probably gonna

1:30.8

beep, and as if you know me well, you know that I don't like the beeps being on a tall,

1:39.8

and when other people's watches beep, pace per mile or every mile, I usually then go

1:48.1

on to give them a lecture about why they shouldn't use their, to where they should turn

1:53.1

that off. So it's quite funny that now I'm doing it. Likely, I don't know, but I'm assuming

1:59.3

the settings would be that way. But I'll say about that another time. Today, yeah, first

2:09.9

together and in a while, I've only been six weeks since I've recorded one, and I finally

2:18.7

got my mic because Steve arrived in the UK, and I thought I'd take you to this beautiful

2:25.3

forest, you two national forests we have here in St. Albans, which is about 15 minutes

2:33.3

away from my parents' house, runs. So we won't have that much time in the forest, because

2:39.7

I'll have to run back, but just such a nice place to go, and so I thought this would be
