Summary

There was a widow who had two daughters. One who was very much like her and the younger who was like her husband. She treated the younger girl very badly and made her do all the housework. On a trip to the well she met a fairy who gave her a gift for her kindness. When the mother saw this she sent the older daughter to the well but she was not as kind to the fairy and her gift was not as nice.
