What a joy it is to be with you this afternoon.

Just thank you, Pastor Tim, for the honor of speaking to this congregation today and to celebrate

Mother's Day.

Sometimes in celebrating Mother's Day, you know, it's a wonderful thing to celebrate.

A mother and her child is a very complicated relationship.

And most of us would say we are far from perfect mothers.

In fact, I have so many young mothers come to me and say,

I'm not a very good mother.

You know, if you say that, that means you are one.

And I just want to pray today that there'd be a special blessing

for the mothers that are in this place.

And for those, you know, I say that biology is the least of things that makes us a mother.
