I'm Mike Dempsey alone with Football Guys own Bob Harris. It's Thursday already, Bob, kicking off week eight tonight, Chargers and the Vikings. And at least this much we know, Hassan Haskins has been ruled out for the L.A. Chargers.

Looks like it will be a Kamani-Badal kind of week.

So what are your expectations?

This may depend on game script,

matched up against a quality Colts defense in week seven.

He struggled in limited action.

Los Angeles relied heavily on Justin Herbert in the passing game.

Herbert threw for 400 yards.

So going from a high

volume in a super week six game to week seven, not so great might have investors backing off. The

football guy's projection team is not those people. Our initial projection is running back 14.

I would play him as a running back too, especially on a week with six teams, including some

pretty good running backs on by. All right.

Now for the Vikings, Carson Wentz will get the start tonight, not on the injury report.

J.J. McCarthy question.

Well, it's already been announced.

He'll be the third quarterback.

This was interesting.

Kevin O'Connell said that McCarthy needs to be about 130% when he returns from his ankle injury. I've never heard such a thing. This feels like to me,

just giving himself some space that if Carson Wentz goes and balls out against the Chargers,

he can keep rolling with Carson Wentz. How do you feel? Right. I think it means Carson Wentz hasn't

inflicted any pain on the team to give enough pain to make them go back to McCarthy. And, you know, to recap, McCarthy had a single quarter of good play since then.
