Yet we're making cuts too.

Meta posted its fourth consecutive quarter of revenue growth.

The company's sales increased to 40.1 billion dollars in the

December quarter, up 25% compared to the same period a year earlier.

Meta's encouraging performance despite regulatory challenges and child safety concerns,

has been fueled by breakthroughs and artificial intelligence technology that has boosted its ad targeting capabilities.

Meta announced that it would pay a cash dividend for the first time in

company history. Amazon's fourth quarter sales rose faster than expected, driven by

strong e-commerce sales during the holiday shopping season.

Revenue in that quarter rose 14% to $170 billion,

while profit surged to $10.6 billion, its strongest level in two years.

Both figures beat Wall Street expectations.

Sales in the Amazon Web Services Cloud Computing arm increased 13% in the fourth quarter

to $24.2 billion matching expectations.
