I'm Alex Osala for the Wall Street Journal. Intel's stock price fell 12%

after the company gave a tepid outlook for this quarter sales and projected a lower than expected

forecast.

And it's having an impact on the broader chip industry.

An index of semiconductor shares fell more than 2% today.

Microsoft Teams suffered an outage this afternoon.

The Down detector website, which monitors online outages, has received more than 14,000 reports of problems with the software.

On X, Microsoft 365's official account noted that the company had identified a networking issue

that had affected some team's users and were working to fix it.

Microsoft did not immediately return requests for comment on the extent of the outage and the number of users affected.
