Summary

Michigan basketball coach Dusty May sits down for an in-depth interview with The Michigan Insider's Sam Webb. The Wolverines' headman reflected upon cutting his teeth in his first college coaching job at Eastern Michigan, what he's learned about some of the unique challenges recruiting players to Michigan, and the reception he's gotten on the NIL fundraising trail. Attention then shifts to his early impressions of every player on the roster now that they're on campus. May opens up about Jace Howard's decision to stay on and the vote of confidence he got from Juwan Howard. He highlights his defensive philosophy, former players and coaches like Trey Burke and John Beilein who have stopped by to see him in the last few weeks, and much much more.
