Literally we've we've been doing this for four years. And we're always like, oh, yeah, we're going to do that. Oh, yeah, we'll get into it. And then we never have. And then this opportunity came up when we have to like, okay, I mean, this is a big deal. I'm excited. I'm popping your cherry. Yeah.

1:11.0

They truly are. Well, we have to say we loved the book. It was so easy to read. So fun. I feel I was telling Mary, I think we're best friends with Marge now. And she doesn't even know it because you were so open. And the book was so great.

1:24.0

I love it. I'm so happy you guys liked it. Do you feel like you learned a lot more about me that you didn't know from the show? I'm obsessed with your childhood.

1:31.0

I have so many questions about it. Okay, good. I mean, like I loved learning about your upbringing and you know, you talking about your European lifestyle, drinking coffee at the age of five, having Oreos for breakfast.

1:48.0

I know. I know. Mark senior really quite the bohemian and bohemian bomb.

1:54.0

Well, and also like it seems like very glamorous at times. And then also maybe a little bit depressing. Yes. I know it was depressing. I mean, it just I didn't know it was scruvy till I went to therapy years later.

2:10.0

I mean, I probably caught on when I went to other people's house. Listen, Marge, see everything was like, listen, if I drank, you know, we were very similar. We're only 20 years apart. I was more like her little BFF sidekick. So if I wanted coffee, I was like, I'll have coffee.

2:26.0

Oh, okay, have coffee. Not a problem. I didn't realize that the kids didn't have coffee till I went to somebody else's house or like, you know, what have people would have for breakfast. If I wanted cookies, it was no problem. I could have cookies. It's like I called the shots, whatever I wanted.

2:40.0

She said was okay. I mean, the glamorous things were that that I read Harper's bizarre and vote. I mean, as a little kid, as opposed to Dr. Soose.

2:49.0

That was it feels like you were very stylish. You guys were dressed to the 9s all right. Very, very stylish, matching outfits. Always the big sunglasses. I mean, but Marge singer, you know, she wouldn't pay the bills, but we had amazing outfits.

3:03.0

I felt very like my mom is a single mom too. And so I felt like I know that relationship. It was kind of gave me some like anywhere but here vibes with Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman or like the Gilmore girls are like, Ginny and Georgia, all these shows that are popular with these single moms and daughters. And it's like, you can't explain that really you, I mean, you did a great job explaining, but you also can't explain like what that best friend mom daughter relationship is unless you're like really in it, I feel.

3:29.0

Yeah, it's like it's a great feeling, but it's also a scary feeling because you don't feel like you really have a mother or that someone's taking care of you or that you ultimately feel safe. So I think your whole life.

3:42.0

You know, your goal is to feel safe safe in a relationship, safe in a marriage. The goal was to make my children feel safe. Don't give them TMI. You protect them from certain things.

3:53.0

So I think, you know, it really shapes the person you are, hence the reason I don't drink. Yeah, so wanted to know then what is March senior think about her portrayal in the book. How is she, I mean, you know, she's on your back cover. We both have our books right here.

4:06.0

She's on the back cover, but would love to know a little bit more about how she feels about her portrayal.

4:10.0

March, she says that's exactly who she is. She admits that she knows it. We've been in therapy since then. So she knows she knows exactly who she is. She's like, I remember skinny did thing. Oh my god, that's very so funny. I mean, some of the stuff she remembers.

4:26.0

She's like, that was hysterical. Margaret, she said she was laughing about she could laugh about it now. Now she, you know, I mean, you know, I'm sure if you know 10 years ago, she would have been crying, but now she could laugh.

4:39.0
