I am Jay Warner Wallace.

We've been talking about how to use scripture

to share the gospel to defend your faith to others and how important it is to memorize scripture because it helps

us to kind of engrain these truths and to think more deeply about theology.

Well in this series we've been doing, this is I think our fourth video on scripture memorization

I'm trying to give you tips not only in terms of what you might be able to take

out of the verse to share the truth with others but also tips to help you

memorize the verse in the first place.

This little tricks that I try to use either visually or semantically to try to remember

what's coming next in the verse and today we're going to talk about tips for

memorizing and using John Chapter 1, at least the first

13 verses of John Chapter 1, because this is a verse that actually helps us to make a case

for the deity of Christ.
