There's a 76-year-old woman in Athens, Georgia.

She almost lost $50,000.

Why, how?

Some scammer was pretending to be a high-ranking cop saying that she had federal warrants to clear.

Well, they had her get $16,000 in Bitcoin.

Just when she's about to withdraw $50,000 for another deposit, this rock star bank teller just steps in. And he's like, hold on a sec, lady. How about you report this to the police? And she does that. And guess what? She found out it was a bunch of nonsense. Oh, yes, that's right. And this is a word to the wise

that anytime somebody calls you and they pretend to be a high-ranking official and they are
