I'm in much better weather and much better straits than I was last week, just in case anybody's worried about if I'm cold or anything like that. Not at all.

Been going along, getting along here to give you a wonderful day. Slept beautifully with the cat.

Ate wonderfully the last couple of days. I haven't had any booze in a week. I basically haven't had any booze in two weeks. I've had beer once in the last

two weeks. I've had chili every day pretty much, a little bit of chili, at least a tablespoon of

chili in one dish or another. Mr. Tums has taken that down real well. Started trying to perfect

a new recipe, getting it down pretty good,

already made it twice. Dutch babies. It's just a big fancy pancake that you, that you make in a cast iron

skillet. I think I, I think after the second time around, I got a little bit closer and I figured

out what I need to do. It's basically just

heat up the skillet a little bit more so it gets a little bit more puffy. But already, already the Dutch babies I'm making, I'm like, I haven't ordered a pancake in years. I haven't ordered a pancake in years because it's flour, you know, it's batter, and then you pour it on a griddle, and then you flip it. So ordering it really kind of feels like a betrayal like yeah I don't want to make

pancakes but I definitely don't want to pay $20 for somebody else to do those three fucking steps. So like it's always been, like I haven't ordered a pancake in years, but I'm never going to order one again after making some Dutch babies. And I haven't even perfected it yet. So once I get it like down down, never, ever, ever, ever, ever is that going to happen.

My car is still not fixed because, and I'll talk about this in a second, because the world is insane.

But there's no batteries right now for me in my car particularly. It's not like it's a strange car or anything. It's just I'm in the ass into the world. And therefore, any kind of logistic issues means that there's not going to get you. So my battery's dead. It died last week. I was so excited, and that's the reason why I haven't had beer. I was going to go out, get some beer,

listen to music on a Friday night like I always do. It was going to be very, very fun.

But the battery just fucking died and it died several days after a massive snowstorm and I just

stayed in for all that too. So I had nothing in the house and I didn't even get all miserable or pouty about it.

I just made what I could with what I had, put a grocery delivery in with a big tip for the next day

because there's going to be some snow and I still on the ground. And I'm very proud of myself for that.

I really am. Got a grocery delivery. It was great. It's all fucking

flour and eggs and fruit and lean protein. You know, I've been doing really, really well
