So today, we are super excited to bring you an episode on one of fashion history's great style icons, Tina Chow.

And Tina became a well-known figure on the fashion and social scene throughout the 70s and 80s.

As a news, patron and friend to designers such as Carl Lagerfeld, Georgio Armani,

Yves Saint Laurent, and artists including Andy Warhol, Cecil Beaton, Robert Mabel Thorpe, the list goes on.

And she was so much more than a pretty face.

Tina herself was a creative force as a jewelry designer.

She was also a vintage fashion collector.

She amassed this incredible 500 piece collection that comprised some of the most formidable names in fashion history, including Fortuni, Paré, V&A.

So just who was this beguiling beauty who continues to captivate audiences 30 years after her untimely death?

To answer that question, I am so pleased to welcome today's guest, Faith Cooper, a fellow FIT alum and fashion historian who specializes in the cultural relationship between the East and the West.

I was first introduced to Faith's work via the Asian Fashion Archive.

She is the founder of this wonderful digital resource project that is committed to highlighting Asian fashion, culture and history.

Tina Chow was, of course, part of that legacy.
