Monday the 1st of November.

And still, when I arrived in yesterday, of course it would have been, we were still

working on the sort of the end of the month thing

where everybody dressed up. I've never known

so many people dress up. In fact it's given the papers

great opportunity to just fill the papers with

pictures of non-entities who've been on reality shows

dressed up to the nines. In fact most of the buses

that were coming past me this morning

while I was waiting for the car,

and I got a different car this morning. I got a Mercedes.

But it's a Mercedes van kind of thing.

I don't know. I mean, to be honest with you, I find them hellish difficult to get in and out of because the seats, one, two, three, there's six seats in it.

And so you've got to kind of climb over and do bits and peep.

It was very nice.

But perhaps I can get one with a ramp next time just to get me in and out of the blooming thing.
