In 1974 a man who would be dubbed the man who killed Halloween struck a suburban neighborhood in

Houston, Texas. A little boy was trick-or-treating with family and neighbors but when he went home to

enjoy a piece of candy he started convulsing and eventually passed out. This is the murder of

Timothy O'Brien and the story of the candy man.

Timothy Mark O'Brien was born on April 5th 1966 in Deer Park, Texas to parents Daneen and Ronald

O'Brien alongside his younger sister Elizabeth and Deer Park is a middle class suburb in the city of

Houston, Texas by the way. Timothy's father Ronald worked as an optician which is a technician who

fits eyeglasses at Texas State Optical and he was also a deacon at the local Baptist Church
