Hi everybody. This is Andrea. Welcome to another episode to Along for the Ride. I've got

We're going to talk to Tim McWay. Tim is one of the most accomplished riders in NRHA history

and to me, one of the best horsemen. I've followed this career since I was a little kid.

He was successful when I was growing up and somebody I looked up to when I moved here to the

states, I spent a little bit of time watching him and learning some of his techniques. To me,

the real reason why I feel that he's such a horseman is because he's being a super successful trainer and

showman for a very long time. He's been able to keep himself up with times and his raining always

look modern throughout his whole career. That's something that, believe it or not, it's super hard to do.

So I have a lot of respect for that. I wanted to find out a little bit more on how he was

able to accomplish it. In Teams world, it's not just about him showing. He's had a great success at

breeding. You know, some of the best studies he produced were Hollywood Dunnett and then later on Gunner.

He trained Hollywood Dunnett, showed it and then bought it probably one of the most influential studs in our industry.

And Gunner, even if he didn't train him, showed himself.

He promoted him from an early stage.

You know, he's become one of the biggest studs. It's $30 million sire.

We all know who Gunner is. He's made a huge impact in our industry.

Tim's family is married to Colleen, very successful hunter and jumper trainer.
