Browns lose and they fall to 3 and 11.

They lose in Chicago to the Bears.

Final score 31 to 3.

It is not about my comfort nor Nathan's comfort or most importantly,

Gerard's comfort.

But let's get the cold out of the way. First, both teams played in it, for the record. The Bears obviously adapted to it better. But it was cold. To quote, good friend and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, when we played in the cold, we was cold. It was that bad. And I'm not exaggerating. It took in,

almost until the point we landed back home that I got full feeling back in my toes. Check that.

I had feeling back, but they were still tingling.

Still tingling. Because thanks to the great Chicago Park Service, the heater under the desk wasn't working. And the windows were open. You want the windows open. You want the feel of the crowd.

And in Chicago, you truly are in the crowd. You had Bears fans turning around with their beers. And they were polite. Don't get me wrong. They were winning. And they really, after the first quarter of the game wasn't that much in doubt. Browns had some fight in the third quarter. You thought maybe there with the Andre Schmidt 50-yard field goal that there was a little bit of momentum. Alas, it did not last long. But those Bears fans,

looking back at us, holding their bears politely smiling and listening to Nathan and yours truly,

describe what was a disheartening loss. I mean, there's no really other way to say it. You could

try to sugar-coded, but I'm never going to do that. I'm never going to look at this camera or talk

into this microphone and tell you that what you saw wasn't what you saw. You did see it.

You saw Shador hit a couple of downfield shots to Isaiah Bond, who had a career high,

89 yards receiving. It has been great to unlock him these final three weeks and finally see that

downfield threat that you knew you had when you got him on campus. But that was all the way

back in August as Isaiah Bond did not sign until after that second preseason game in Philadelphia.
