Hello from the Washington area. I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast. It is April

15th. What used to be known as Tax Day and the Todd Household is the birthday of my youngest.

But obviously everything is still on hold in the year of coronavirus and say the RS is

in the news because President Trump's signature is going to be, well not quite as signature

but his name is going to be on the relief checks going out the door. And that has been

the story of the week. The White House continues to send the message at its focus. I'm bringing

the economy back. The president has been using his daily press briefing to hammer that point

and to hammer anybody he has perceived to be working against him, be him via the media

or say the WHO. Joining me this week is Politico's Chief Political Correspondent Tim Alberta and

White House reporter for the Washington Post Ashley Parker. And later in the show, are you

getting through this strange period? I'll be joined by Mark Kerry, Ben and Melissa, also

known as the NBC News Political Unit. Just simply talked about the best movies and cultures,

political and otherwise that they are streaming these days and trust me, nobody nerds out

quarantine or isolation or whatever you want to call it is this for you week three, week

four, kind of blurred together for us here at NBC? I feel like I've been trying to keep

track and I think it's week five from from when the post sent us home. The post was kind

of ahead of the curve on this. I remember, I mean, it's funny how quickly your life

changes in the middle of a pandemic. But when the post first sent out that email saying,

you know, tomorrow, everyone, you know, is expected to work from home. We all emailed our

editors and we're like, but seriously, like we're coming in tomorrow, right? And then within
