Life is short, and I don't really have a whole lot of regrets in our honesty, especially

in the now 11 years since Elijah's been gone.

I had to reinvent myself, that's what I was explaining to you about when you lose your

identity and your spouse, when Elijah passed away, I didn't really know what I was going

to do as a woman who's no longer married.

It's like, wait a minute, I'm entering a world where I'm

by myself and I'm young.

You know, I was 37 years old when I became a widow, and you know, it's kind of like when

you take those vows, when you hear, you know, until death do you part, you never think

it's going to happen within 15 years, not when you're 20 years old.

I made vows, I broke them, hindsight, I didn't comprehend the gravity of the exchange of

the solemn promise of vow.

For God and man, it's time to unpack these sacred words so that I never take this oath

lightly ever again.
