| 1:29.3 | topic? You know, as a pastor, we're dealing with this all the time. In 31 years, I think I've done |
| 1:36.8 | close to 150 funerals. Death is certainly a common reality. Hebrews 927, which means sorrow is a common reality for the |
| 1:46.9 | people, even the people of God. Closer to home, back in 2014, my mom went to be with the Lord |
| 1:53.4 | after battling Parkinson's for five years. The last three weeks of her life, she was in hospice care |
| 1:59.8 | in the hospital, and our family was with her basically for the last six days continually. |
| 2:05.6 | In that experience, I watched God do something really amazing. |
| 2:10.6 | We went through, obviously, sorrow, but also experienced some incredible joy in the midst of it that sort of surprised me at the time. |
