Welcome to today in iPhone. For this tip, it's going to be 10 hidden features in OS 3.0. Never really

did go over this in the show when OS3O came out.

I always figured the app was right around the corner and we could cover it in the app.

Well, the app's here, so let's go over now.

And this list comes from PC World.

First one up, adjustable song scrolling speed.

In the past, when you were listening to a song, you would put your finger on it

and you can move forward in and move in big jumps. Now, as you hold your finger down on the button

while a song's playing or a podcast is playing, it scrolls through it. To do this, tap and hold

down on the button for the song where you want to scroll. And then you will

notice right away, it'll say high speed scrubbing. As you scroll your finger down the screen,

it'll go to change to quarter speed scrubbing, fine scrubbing, and as you move your finger back up,

it'll be fine, quarter, half speed, and then high speed scrubbing.

And you do that by moving your finger up and down the screen, and then you go left to right to actually do the scrubbing.

So then you hold down the button or the little dot on the play bar.

Then you slide your finger down the screen and it'll change from high speed to half speed scrubbing

to quarter speed scrubbing to fine scrubbing and then you just scroll left or right and you can move

it forward or back. Next item is in the 3-0 keyboard. There's a few special characters that are there now that weren't previously.

If you go into where there's a dot and you hold down the dot, you'll also see the option for dot, dot, dot, dot.

If you hold down the double quote sign, you'll see the option for a double arrow forward, double arrow back, upside down quotes, quotes at the bottom.

So actually a few other items there.
