few people will ever understand what's involved to get them there.

Those moments don't just happen.

He went at the right time and he held on and what a game performance from Tiger Roll.

It was in mid-December 2013, years before he'd make sporting history that a three-year-old

Tiger Roll had just been bought by Michael O'Leary and arrived to Gordon Elliott's training yard in County Meath.

Tiger wasn't to know it then,

but he was just about to make a new, lifelong friend.

I've been involved with Tiger Oles since he first arrived in Gordon's in the yard.

There was a few horses that came in at that time,

but he stood out a little bit because he was a little bit quirky.

He was quite boyish and he was a little bit of a handful in that he was always on his toes.
