I did this week, my very good friend, Jamie Hamilton, who is a football coach in Scotland.

That's the highest level, apart from the pro license, but that's invitation only.

Yeah, I believe so.

Who do you get invited by?

Your buddies when you're really good. A little bit of nepotism. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, if anyone's listening that can help, can you please invite Jamie Hamilton? That would be good, wouldn't it? Yes. Okay, what did you talk to Jamie about? Jamie and I had a really interesting conversation about whether or not European football tactics has become a little bit too European focused,

whether or not we can learn about football tactics from other parts of the world and whether or not those different tactics would be successful.

And it led us on a, well, it led us on a very interesting conversation about the way that the development of tactics

has taken place in Europe and whether or not, you know, it's necessarily the case that

the most efficient route that has been taken is always the best one.

So, yeah, Jamie is quite interested in some South American coaches who are doing things very different

from a lot of the positional play coaches that we get at the very top level of the European game now.
