0:10.9 | I'll begin with one apology, two questions, and a menu of things to come. |
0:18.0 | So first, the apology. |
0:20.6 | I've learned over the years that I can't reliably count past |
0:24.8 | three, and also that I need to count in order to keep myself from going off the rails. So if you're |
0:32.1 | one of those lucky people who can count to four, I apologize for complicating things by using more than two or three sets of |
0:40.5 | two and three. Second, the questions. The first question is for you. Why are you listening to a talk on |

1:49.3 | so that you can approach your next cocktail party with confidence, |
1:53.1 | or at least with something to think about if you end up in the corner. |
1:57.7 | Third, and recommended, |
2:00.4 | perhaps you're here with a practical aim. |
