Yesterday, the nation's largest Confederate statue, a giant monument to Robert Ely in Richmond,

Virginia, was finally removed.

The statue was removed after two new rulings came down from the State Supreme Court last week.

After Governor Ralph Northam was sued by a group of racist residents of Richmond, the RRR,

which I just made up, who didn't want him to take the statue down.

The court ruled that they had no standing and that their claims were without merit, sort

of like the people who continued to glorify the Confederacy.

The state of Virginia says that it's also going to remove a 133-year-old copper time capsule

that's inside the pedestal and replace it with something that they say, quote,

better reflects the current cultural climate in Virginia.

And it will certainly be telling to see how they interpret that.

Everyone marker calendars for next Saturday, September 18th, because there's going to

be something called the Justice for J6 rally on that day, and I'm sure you can guess what

J6 means.

And if you're not sure, it means January 6th.

The latest intelligence report for the Capitol Police is now showing that violent rhetoric

surrounding the event has increased online, and counter-protests are also being planned
