it's a big one. It was on this date in 1997. So 26 years ago today, the notorious BIG was killed.

He was shot while sitting in the passenger seat of a suburban after a soul train awards party in LA.

He was only 24 at the time. The older I get, the harder that is to believe, only 24 years old.

Okay, all right, let's go. Let's jump in. We always start with the top story. Unfortunately,

one of the big stories at the moment is more winter weather. Snow is expected in Minneapolis,

St. Paul, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit. It'll most likely lead to more travel headaches over the

weekend. The worst of it though is forecast for California again. It looks like it could get

pretty scary out there. They say a moisture packed storm is moving inland, which will carry warm

air to the higher elevations that are still buried in snow. So that warm air could lead to rapid

snow melt, which very well could create a dangerous flooding mudslide scenario, not good.

Around 17.5 million Californians are under flood watches right now. Residents in Big Sur are out there

being asked to stock up on at least two weeks worth of supplies to get through this. Hopefully,

it's not as bad as they're predicting it could be. Good luck, everyone.

Okay, all right. On to some sports headlines. Now for the second consecutive year, ESPN celebrated

International Women's Day yesterday with an all female broadcast team during the Maverick's

Pelicans game. All women in all of the key on camera and behind the scenes roles of the broadcast.
