Last season, it all started to come together for the Browns, right?

They finally beat the Steelers in the playoffs on the road, which, by the way, was their first

row playoff win since 1969.

And quarterback Baker Mayfield had the most passing touchdown since the rookie season with 26 and career low eight picks.

All this says Brown's GM Andrew Barry downright giddy.

Here is speaking to reporters on Wednesday.

We've been pretty consistent with our messaging around Baker that we think he had a

really strong season for us.

We like the maturation and the growth both on and off the field.

And we're looking forward to him continuing to take streps his second year in the offense.

Baker is the first quarterback and you guys probably know the

years more than I do that's that's led this organization led this team to the playoffs, a playoff

victory. He's endured an enormous amount of adversity in his young career just quite honestly with

the changes that he's that he's gone through with coaching staff on offices offensive systems

and he's risen above it all and so I think we all saw him grow from week to week to week last year

and we expect him to continue that progress and have a fantastic 2021 season for us.

A lot of excitement in Cleveland.
