Christ is enough.

Let's open our Bibles and join the study now.

We are living in a noisy world.

0:42.3

In fact, the noise at times seems to almost drive you crazy.

0:47.4

I'm not talking just about sounds.

1:14.3

In our last study, we were in Luke chapter number 17, where Jesus healed ten lepers.

1:18.8

But I want to draw your attention to the next chapter, to Luke chapter 18 today, to the healing of a blind man.

1:29.6

Matthew 20 and in Mark 10 the parallel to what we're about to read. And both of those accounts

1:36.0

give us some details that Luke does not give us. For example, Matthew tells us that there was not

1:40.9

only one blind man at this particular time healed, there were two blind

1:45.3

men. Obviously, one of them is the most vocal one and the one that seems to interact most with

1:51.3

the Lord, maybe the most prominent of the two. Mark tells us the name of that blind man. His

1:57.5

name was Bartimaeus. Perhaps you've heard of old blind Bartimaeus, the beggar. And so Matthew tells us,

2:04.4

there were two blind men. Mark tells us that the one that is most concentrated on is named
