talked about murder trials in the country. And you're expecting bombshells, DNA revelations, emotional

testimonies, and maybe even a few courtroom

meltdowns. But before anyone even mentions the word murder, there's a thick stack of

paperwork and a bench full of lawyers fighting over what can and cannot be said.

That is precisely what is happening right now in the case against Brian Koberger.

And this isn't anything new.

Most trials, the big key parts are all decided well before the actual trial begins through motions and hearings and all of that.

And it's what's been happening most recently in the last week or so, depending on when you're

watching this. April 18th of 2025, the judge in the Brian Coburger case sat down and drew a line

in the sand.

Let's start with the language.

The courtroom equivalent of, watch your mouth.

I don't know.

Nobody said it to me.

Watch your mouth.

I'm trying to think of how the tone was.

I don't say it that often.

But I'm trying to think I always said to me, watch your mouth.

Something like that.

The defense wanted to state, wanted the state, rather, muzzled from using words like murder,

murderer or murder weapon in a murder case. Yeah, makes sense, right? Their argument that these words are
