I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. Three men were found guilty of murder, robbery,

and conspiracy, and connection with a drugging and robbery

scheme that terrorized New York City gay bars and led to the deaths of two victims.

Jaquan Hamilton, Robert Tamayo, and Jacob Barroso were found guilty on all charges,

working together to drug and rob five men between March and June of 2022.

Prosecutors say the trio would lurk outside Midtown bars near closing time,

chat up victims who had been drinking all night and then give them fentanyl laced drugs to

subdue them and steal their phones and credit cards. Two men, 25-year-old Julio Ramirez and 33-year-old

John Umberger died as a result of the scheme. In April, Hamilton and Barroso approached Ramirez,

giving him fentanyl laced cocaine, leaving him to die a cab, while they went on a shopping spree with his money.

The next month, Umberger was found dead in an Upper East Side townhouse with the suspects seen on images next to his lifeless body.

Each man faces a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
