And Jim, today we start where we finished yesterday.

Our chaser yesterday, will Eric Swalwell have to resign,

or will he be able to finish his term? It appears he will be resigning. Eric Swalwell yesterday,

issuing a statement early in the evening. Deeply sorry to my family, staff, and constituents for

mistakes in judgment I've made in my past. I will fight the serious false allegation, singular,

made against me. However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I did make.

I'm aware of efforts to bring an immediate expulsion vote against me and other members,

expelling anyone in Congress without due process within days of an allegation being made is wrong,

but it's also wrong for my constituents to have me distracted

from my duties, therefore I plan to resign my seat in Congress. Plan to. Meanwhile, as we talked

about yesterday, there had been a movement to actually expel four members of the House, two from each

party. One of those was Republican Tony Gonzalez of Texas. He will not be expelled. He is

resigning. Effective today. He says in a tweet yesterday, there is a season for everything and

God has a plan for us all. When Congress returns tomorrow, I will file my retirement from office.

It has been my privilege to serve the great people of Texas. No apology from him whatsoever, at least in that statement.

So, Jim, that's two out of the four that they had been talking about.

Also, you mentioned yesterday that Swalwell was a little bit tricky with the language

and pulling out of the governor's race.
