So glad you're with us for the Wednesday edition of the three martini lunch.

And Jim, it's no secret.

We're not big fans of former FBI director James Comey. I really

have nothing good to say about him. I think his briefing of Trump before the first inauguration,

which allowed CNN and BuzzFeed to go forward with the false steel dossier was absolutely

disgraceful. I put him up there in the same level of contempt

as John Brennan and James Clapper and even Michael Hayden. And so feel free to disagree with that.

But in terms of prosecuting him, which this administration has tried to do once, that case got

dismissed in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Now Comey is under indictment again.

This time in North Carolina for that Instagram post of something he supposedly found on the beach last year.

Earlier today, a grand jury in the Eastern District of North Carolina returned a true bill inditing Mr. James Comey with committing two felonies.

Count one, he knowingly and willfully made a threat to kill and to inflict bodily harm

upon the President of the United States

in violation of 18 USC 871A.

Count two, he knowingly and willfully transmitted an interstate and foreign commerce, a communication that contained a threat to kill President

Trump in violation of 18 USC 875C.

And so then the question came to the Attorney General, our acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche.
