0:33.2	at the three key inner strengths that really support us as we move through the spiritual

0:40.8	And for those of you who are tuning in fresh, it was based on a wonderful story from the
0:47.0	Upanishads.
0:48.0	I've always loved the protagonist as a young man, Nachikata.
0:53.0	And he's gone through some very challenging times.
0:55.9	A few of his friends died and he got into a major and very painful conflict with his father.
1:04.0	And at the end of that conflict his father basically said, I give you to Lord Yama and
1:09.6	Lord Yama is death.
1:11.3	So the young man very earnestly went seeking out the Lord of death, Lord Yama, and spent
1:18.4	three days waiting for him and underwent exhaustion, fatigue, and hunger and pain from
1:25.6	his exertions.
1:26.8	And when Lord Yama finally arrived he was very impressed with Nachikata's dedication.
1:34.0	So he offered him any three gifts he wanted, any three gifts for continuing on his journey.
1:40.9	And Nachikata made his three choices and they reflect the wisdom of impermanence, the
1:49.3	wisdom of really getting that this life is passing.
1:53.2	His first gift that he asked for was the freedom of a forgiven heart.
2:00.0	Because Nachikata knew that he really needed to free his heart from any armoring of hatred,
