their respects at the memorial for the 15 people killed last week at a hanaica celebration at fonday beach

fox is steve harrigan with details in sydney they brought flowers they burned eucalyptus leaves, they hugged each other, they cried.

At 647, there was a moment of silence.

That was the time one week ago when the two terrorists began firing.

They fired 82 shots killing 15 Australians, wounding more than 40.

Leaders of the tight-knit Jewish community here say that this terrorist attack has changed

things in Australia forever. Prime Minister Albanese attended the memorial, but he did not speak

when he arrived. He was greeted by booze from the crowd. Many in the Jewish community angry

at their policies saying the government has not done enough to combat anti-Semitism in the months

leading up to this attack.

Prime Minister Albanese saying the government would implement stricter gun control laws like

allowing only citizens to own guns.

One of the shooters was a licensed gun owner and a member of a gun club.

Police recovered undettonated explosives and homemade ISIS flags

in the other shooter's car. The United States military pursuing a third oil tanker after capturing

a second ship this weekend. Fox is Lucas Tomlinson with the details. U.S. forces, the Navy,

and Coast Guard have been spending most of the day chasing an

oil tanker suspected of smuggling illegal Venezuelan oil for most of the day. And a U.S. official

just sent Fox a statement involved in the operation saying, quote, the United States Coast Guard

is in active pursuit of a sanctioned dark fleet vessel that is part of Venezuela's illegal

sanctions evasion.
