Never spent this kind of money. Never had this kind of day. They've had years where they've been more aggressive than others, and they've had years where they've signed some big players. We were just discussing Adelaus Thomas that 2007 year.

Adelaus Thomas, that 2007 year, Adelaus Thomas, Dante Stallworth,

Wes Walker in a trade, Randy Moss in a trade.

That felt splurgy.

If you also want to add on, I think that was your was Sammy Morris at running back and maybe Kyle Brady at tight end, I think, was that year.

And that was a reactionary year, too.

2006.

They had let the roster go to crap a little bit.

They didn't spend a lot of money.

They let all those receivers go.

2006.

They had really no pass-catching options.

And they still made it all the way to the second half of the

AFC title game and I think they got into that offseason and said you know we left that

roster high and dry we left Brady high and dry we left Bill high and dry we didn't have enough

talent on this team that was a team that was closer than we thought and so in 07 they sort

of corrected and spent some money and brought in some players that That was 07. The other year that stands out was 2003, going way back. That was Rodney Harrison. That was Roosevelt Colvin. Maybe you remember the receiver, Donald Hayes, I think, was that year. And that was a big free agent signing. That was a big free agent year. And sort of felt splurgy. And that was again coming off

of 2002 where they missed the playoffs at 9 and 7. They had 1 in 01. They missed a playoffs in 2002.
