And I was kind of wondering myself when Father's Day started

because I always think I have that conspiracy theory about Hallmark that Hallmark started

everything but that's not the case so in 1966 president Linden Johnson issued a

presidential proclamation honoring fathers and designated the third

Sunday in June as Father's Day.

And it's now been celebrated annually just since 1972 when President Richard Nixon signed the public law that made it
