Summary

Much confusion surrounds the study of Bible prophecy, which we find curious since most everyone wants to know what will happen in the future. Most churches don’t teach or study Bible prophecy and rarely look at the role of Israel in future events. Some pastors are simply unfamiliar with the subject, while others fear it will divide their church or even scare away their members with the troubling images found in the Book of Revelation.

saying, I mean, let's define what hermeneutics is and let's talk about that consistent

Yeah, harmonetics is simply the method or process of interpreting literature.

1:23.4

Mm-hmm.

1:24.4

So in that sense, why do you think there is this confusion today? I mean, we see it all over the place,

1:32.8

even in the popular framework. Well, because people introduce other factors that don't belong

1:38.2

in the hermeneutical process. In other words, I believe that the Bible can be interpreted what they call literally.

1:46.5

And the word literal is used in two ways in linguistics.

1:51.3

One, for your interpretive approach, in other words, what does the text say in its context,

1:58.8

et cetera, and all of that?

2:00.6

And then you discuss whether a word... in its context, et cetera, and all of that.

2:01.6

And then you discuss whether a word or a phrase

2:06.6

is deniative or connotative, or it's literal,
