Every Friday, we do a pop-a-top.

Which, um, whether you drink a beer or not, your business.

Um, but it's our way of toasting.

Paying tribute to celebrating, honoring, recognizing a man or woman

or people in a certain role in their lives that don't always get their due.

And that could be moms, it could be dads, it could be big brothers, big sisters,

aunts and uncles, grandparents, coaches, teachers, police officers, firefighters,

volunteers, it's all sorts of people that deserve a moment in time to be honored for what they do.

Because otherwise, only a few people get honored.

You know, because we're always going to have the Oscars where we act like the most important

thing is to be an actor in a movie. Oh, but it's not. That's not what keeps the trains running.

That's not what, that's not what matters most, right?

So this week, it's to people long gone, whose memory lives on.

People to whom we owe an incredible debt.

The Declaration of Independence.

With July 4th, forthcoming, it's a time to honor the history of our nation.

And I understand it's a time to barbecue and be within great.

But it's a time to remember this nation wasn't supposed to exist.

It was against all odds.
