| 2:04.0 | In 1186, William married Ermagard de Beaumont at the Royal Chapel in Woodstock Palace. |
| 2:11.4 | They had four children who survived to adulthood. |
| 2:15.6 | Their marriage was arranged by Henry II, who offered to pay for the entire |
| 2:20.3 | wedding. William's reign saw much improvement to Scotland, including the founding of new burs, |
| 2:28.5 | clarifying criminal law and growing trade. It was this week in royal history in the year 1214 that King William I died. |
